School November to the end of 1st Semester

What I did at school the past 2.5 months:
I start with my period 1 class, which is Art. We learned about colour theory and had to do a painting with acryllics, after that we did an OP-Art (cutting), Embossing, and then we did Gargoyle masks out of clay. That was so much fun and we finished them off with shoe polish and silver/gold. Our final project were dragons with chalk pastels. We projected a researched picture on the wall and drew the contures. So we just had to worry about layering the colours. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it unexcepted. Yesterday I spend the morning at school to put my artwork on a trifold, so that they can present it at 'Celebrate Western' - our school open house. Period 2 is Foods: Our fourth module was Fruits&Veggis&Grains. I found it quite boring...The week before Christmas we build our own Gingerbread Houses. That was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed it! Our last module was Meat; unfortunately we did all our practical assignments with beef.
In English I had my Midterm on November 12. I did really bad, but whatever. Our topic after was 'The Hero's Journey' and we watched Whale Rider and Harry Potter. Finally, everyone had to prepare a formal speech about a REAL hero. I did Mahatma Ghandi and got 100%!! Really proud of myself. Our student teacher introduced short storys to us with palmistry. Nobody really got the purpose of that...And then we had to write our own short story after doing some research. I wrote about a girl who is living in the Indian slums, getting Malaria and in the end she gets adopted by a German family. I did quite good on that. I really don't have the feeling that my language is worse than the English from other students. I really didn't enjoy our last module before the holidays -> paranormal anthology! Again we watched a movie - Poltergeist. On the last Friday we watched 'How the Grinch stole Christmas'. I loved it! And when we got back to school after the holidays, it was time for - guess what?! - another movie, named 'White Squall' and based on a true story. We read poems and listened to songs about community, strength, etc. And yesterday from 8.30am to 10.30am I had my Part A Final. It was a critical response about any of the literature/movies that we did during class time. I don't know how I did.
And my last period is...GYM!! We all had to do Crosstraining&CPR. I actually learned how to do breast compressions and use an AED. We did suicide - groups competing in little challenges. My group became 4/6. And then I had Marshall Art. How I hated that! I did really bad and some people never took anything for serious...it was really bad. The week before the holidays we did dancing. Monday it was Jive and Twostep, on Wednesday and Thursday it was HipHop with a professional instructor (I don't know what I should think about this kind of dance) and on Friday we did partnerdances again. Last week we did Handball. I can tell you that it was NO fun at all because nobody here knows the rules! And no one took it for serious and so we just played a game that didn't look like handball at all. I had no fun, but others obviously did...
